Access to residential and personal services is not a problem for those who live in large cities. One only needs to launch an app and schedule the required service. In Tier II and III cities, it is less simple.
People in smaller cities had a difficult time getting to necessary services, especially during the pandemic. Due to their inability to secure employment that would support them and their families, service providers too had difficulties. Three childhood friends, Sidharth Kulbhaskar, Amit Kulchand, and Amit Shanker, started My Life Assistant (also called "Myla"), a platform for professional services, in Dehradun in 2021 to solve these problems.
Myla is a digital platform that links customers with service providers of home services including cleaning, repair, and pest control, as well as online consultancy services like tax and dietician consultations. On the platform, you can also take yoga and dance classes and talk to doctors and physical therapists through video chat.
"During the epidemic, Myla assisted several suppliers and service providers who were struggling from a lack of employment. Customers were also able to access necessary services because of our ability to balance service and safety, according to Siddharth, co-founder and director of Myla.in.
Currently, Myla is a web-based platform. The firm also has a smartphone app in the works.
